There is a contents insurance policy which covers all company owned items such as furniture, IT equipment and other fixtures & fittings inside the office.
IMPORTANT! The policy does not cover any employee’s personal items
So if you decide to bring in artwork and ornaments from home or if you leave clothes, shoes, jewellery/watches or small tech items like cameras, iPads, personal mobile phones etc at the office then you should arrange your own insurance for these items.
Always remember to lock away anything valuable if you’re going to be away from the office for a length of time.
