New IT support

We’ll no longer be using OITD (‘Our IT Department Ltd’) after September 2017.

As we’re sure you’ll agree, our IT infrastructure has improved immeasurably since Roger Burgess’ arrival. Roger’s background is in running IT support companies, and he has recently started a new support company called Scoria. We’re going to be using Scoria from 1st September.

As part of our new IT support deal with Scoria, there will be someone onsite 5 days each week for support and project work (instead of 2 days/week as we presently have with OITD). Roger will continue to work with us as he does now. There will also be project work starting in September to bolster our security, improve our network and start making our data accessible from the cloud – exciting stuff!

OITD have always done a great job and we’re very grateful to them for all their help and support. Please continue to use OITD in the usual way until September.
